Home, for good (until September 21)

I lived the diabetic dream today: First off, I got loads of free needles and insulin from camp as well as an awesome new blood sugar meter. Oh, and tons of glucose tabs (I could liken them to crack cocaine for diabetics). But, best of all, I got to drink a Diet Coke (no soda at camp). It was heavenly.

Well, I've just gotten back from diabetes camp and now I am staying put for a long time. And, honestly, I'm kinda relieved. As much as I loved seeing my diabetic friends, I missed my healthy family and friends a whole lot.

Despite some bouts of homesickness, the past two weeks have been absolutely amazing. I'm still feeling too lazy to write about everything in detail...but it'll happen eventually, I promise.
