After listening to "96 Rock" (96.5 FM) all summer in the car, I've kinda become a heavy metal/rock fan. I've always harbored a secret affection for metal but a girl like me is usually supposed to lovelovelove John Mayer and Dave Matthews Band.
I don't know many metal/rock bands by name but two of my favorites are Slipknot and Disturbed. The angry-sounding German lead singer scares me but I really dig Rammstein too.
